If you missed the 3rd Annual Post-Convention Rally & Travel Training Event, take a look at what other
attendees had to say. You'll definitely won't want to miss next year's event!
Thank you to all the Vendors (Globus, Vayama, Spring Tour Int'l & Worldwide Tours), Mike "The Travel Guy"
Reams and Dan Neitz (Reno Directors), Jamie Bigornia (Coach's Corner) for training on CCRA, all the
Volunteers, and the Attendees for making this Event such a wonderful success!! A BIG thank you to Derek
Avera, YTB's Vice President of Communications for coming to support us and the State of California!
I would like to say thank you for putting on a very exciting post-convention rally. The line up was outstanding. The way Derek Avera
presented shopYTB, with his enthusiasm about were we (YTB) is going was right on time. The training was second to none. The way
everybody stayed around to support our team, sends a statement about your leadership. Again thank you. May God keep his hands in
your YTB business & your life. Chauncey Baine, Sr.
I am brand new to YTB, as of July1!!! This was my first Post-Convention Rally. I found it to be extremely informational and entertaining, as
well as very well put together. The speakers were all wonderful. I came home very excited and ready to get going!!! Thank you!!! Carol
Dali
The YTB post-convention was a great way to bring home the excitement of convention and get some great training. It was especially
important to have Derek Avera from corporate here in California to help support all of us and keep us up to date on announcements and
compliance. I look forward to more great support and training from our Directors and YTB to help keep us informed and focused on
building our YTB business in California. Sam J Perea
I was excited about being there and how I saw all the positive energy from OUR LEADERS about YTB. It sparked another beginning in me.
Thanks for all you do. Darlene Felder
Thank you for a great event, as usual! The travel training was awesome. (I wasn't able to attend the session with Derek Avera - darn it!)
Vayama is new and we already know the scoop! What a great product to add to our booking resources. The Globus training was great
also, it's so good to hear these trainings more than once, there's so much information. Joe Jarvies is always great and I have friends that
are amazed I can put a group together for three people!!! They're already planning a trip; I get to make it extra fantastic! Thanks for an
awesome job! Our group is pumped up and ready to go!!! Patty McCord, Reno, NV
It was a wonderful event. I felt like it was not a post convention, but a continuation of convention. The training was at the same professional
level as YTB University. Letitia Shelby
Unfortunately we missed the morning session but we are VERY HAPPY that we made it for the travel training portion. We do a lot of the
training and webinars but it brings the classroom setting into reality when you get a chance to actually hear from the vendors directly.
Little bits of information that the speakers gave us have already made a difference in our bookings and our teams travel bookings.
Thanks for all the work you put into it. We would love more specific travel trainings from experienced people. The little tidbits that Mary
gives us make a HUGE difference! Thanks again, we will see you soon. Have a Great Day! Sharon and Cindan
My name is Linda Low Johnson. I attended the 8/8 post convention event & loved it. I thank the sisters for organizing it. I learned a lot from
it, about the travel business, about the new happenings at YTB, as well as met the vendors. I finally felt I've learned the tools to help me to
be successful in my travel business. Ever since I came back from the conference, I was excited. I've been talking to people about YTB.
Since I attended the conference I've 3 prospects that are considering joining YTB. I hope to have my dream team by the end of the year. I
also want to join the $10,000 challenge. I'm going to put some work in building my travel business. I joined YTB for about 1-1//2 years.
They put in a lot of planning & work into it. I just want to say "Thank You from the bottom of my heart." & keep up the good work. Linda
Low Johnson
It was a large crowd of enthusiastic YTBers who are Taking Care of Business and attended this annual Post-Convention event in
Burlingame with Directors and Travel Vendors. I attended Convention and got a little bit more of it one week later. Those who are serious
about building their travel business will attend these phenomenal Super Saturday events to learn more and be surrounded by other
positive people with vision! I enjoyed hearing from and meeting VP of Communications, Derek Avera, and believe YTB has an incredible
staff taking care of business at the home office. Thanks Jenny and Mary for putting this together! Veronica Perea
My sincere thanks and appreciation for the work you did to enable this amazing and inspiring event. I am hard-pressed to reduce the
selection of what I liked best. Let me simply express kudos for the following:
1. Scheduling! Most impressive! Your speakers / trainers adhered to the schedule prescribed!
2. The room arrangement:
a) With tables made it very comfortable to take notes;
b) Water to have an occasional sip as needed, without having to go to the back of the room to pick up a glass.
3. The speakers / trainers / subjects you had selected were all very positive. My only comment was that the Vayama presentation
should have been in a "webinar" format; it was difficult to see the screen details. It is an exciting new resource for our YTB agency; it will
be used more if we can gain a clearer picture of the breadth of the offerings. (I apologize for being negative in any way, but ...)
4. Re: The audience ... if people weren't enthused by the energy and timbre of the day, they should stay home. We drove home
(there were four of us) and talked non-top for the two and a half hours it took us to get home!! We were so charged up, that we admitted
to having difficulty sleeping!
So, thank you for all your energy, and your tremendous organizational skills. It is no easy feat to execute a full day with such grace and
aplomb! Thank you! I look forward to hearing details about your upcoming Super-Saturday! Sincerely, Linda Carol
